I was trying to earn a mention in @Double Down's newsletter.

 

I won't discourage anyone from pursuing his/her dreams. If you've got the intellectual itch to scratch, it'll be worth it.

But you should know going in that that is an awfully, awfully hard road to toe.

 

You edited this after I replied. No, I don't think you're coordinated against me. I do think you like each other's posts the way coaches tell eight-year-olds just to do their best.

 

An explanation as to what you think defines this "quarter." What do you think drives our efforts? I'm genuinely curious to hear you explain what binds us so.
