He’s further off his rocker than his Independence Day character was.

I will be sorely disappointed if Pelosi et. al. don't use Trump's disgruntlement to get a 50-state Voting Rights Act passed. It's been sitting on Mitch's desk for years. Standardize voting eligibilty and vote counting procedures - put an end to voter purges a month ahead of Election Day. It should be a tap in.

Not a single Republican would vote for it, and if they control the Senate Mitch wouldn't even put it up for a vote. The official position of the Republican Party, said out loud during Trump's effort to overthrow the election is that people who aren't white shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I tried to get an interview with Shannon Tweed about 20 years ago. I was freelancing for a brash alt-weekly and she was still oddly a part of the zeitgeist, so I said what the fuck? How does the daughter of a mink rancher become a celluloid goddess of erotic thrillers and marry Gene Simmons? Great story, right?

She was nice as could be but said she was trying to put distance between herself and that life. I understood implicitly, thanked her for her time and instead began work on an homage to the Skinemax and BlowTime of my dissolute youth.
