I'd argue McCain did that in 2008, re: Obama's scary Muslimness. That was after he poured kerosene by selecting an unqualified batshit-crazy running mate, though.

 

I always like enraging Goldwaterites by reminding them Hillary loved him.

 

Both Goldwater and McCain were without personal prejudices and approached the world with good will. As a result, neither man could've come close to winning a Republican primary in 2020.

 

I was raised Methodist and went to a Catholic college. I didn't really go to church much while in school, but I used to laugh at the Catholic kids who made sure to get to 6 p.m. Saturday evening Mass at the college's chapel so they could party all night afterwards and sleep in on Sunday.

It was never about protecting children. It was all about weaponizing child sex abuse accusations against political enemies. The very nature of those accusations is such that it doesn't matter if they're true or not. They stick.

 

Now that Obama has been out of office for 4 years, where's the evidence of his "secret, radical, latent, Muslim intent"? He was the president in cahoots with the Saudis right? Oh wait that's Bush 41 and/or 43. Show me your work.
