    I can just see Iowans in front of the TV watching that looking at that as she answered the question without ever even mentioning soy beans, then missing the answer that badly when she guessed. It's not like she gave a price from two weeks ago that had changed, she wasn't even in the parking lot of the ballpark.

    Corporate farming is a buzz word that doesn’t mean what a lot of people think it does.

    The vast majority of farms— especially row crop farms that grow corn and soybeans — are family owned, even if some are technically incorporated. There are lots and lots of real people farmers in Iowa sweating out the fluctuations in the price of corn and beans.
