It's not caving, it's attacking and advancing their position; the Democrats just don't have that in their DNA and as a result, #thecouphasalreadyhappened.

 

Bringing Graham in fromSC during the end of a contested election to chair SCOTUS hearings, help or hurt him?

are there people in SC that care that he lied or just happy that he’d do anything for the bankrupt rapist?

 

What, exactly, would stop them from confirming a justice in a lame duck session?

 

This reminds me of when the 49ers were complaining about everyone else's cap violations and then they went and broke the rules they advocated for, in bigger and more overt ways than anybody else.

Discussion of this seat is unseemly 36 hours after a human death, but these individuals have been very clear on what they really think about life.

 

The certainty that a Democratic Senate, should it be coming in in 2021, would then expand the Court.

 

I don't think that would stop them.

 

And I never again want to hear that discussion of gun laws comes "too soon" after yet another mass shooting.
