President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Biden wouldn't be so fucking immature that he'd demand fealty from every governor in the country and threaten to withhold life-saving supplies from all those who didn't bow in humble supplication to a level and manner of his liking. Everybody would get whatever the federal government could provide. Governors not of his klan wouldn't have to meet aircraft on the tarmac to ensure the plane stayed right there and allowed that life-saving equipment to be off loaded and used in its intended destination lest it be diverted to some SEC state with a friendlier supplicant.

 

Saw somewhere that 72 percent of Dems plan to vote by mail, and just 22 percent of Republicans plan to vote by mail. Can that possibly be correct?

It’s at the point Dems HAVE to vote in person. Trump is shutting down the fucking post office.

I’m so exhausted of this criminal asshole and his enablers.

Because that Republican stronghold known as Rhode Island was going to be a real player in the 2020 election

 

Those numbers are a head-scratcher to me, too.

The older folks who live in the boondocks rely on mail more than anyone, and those people tend to vote Republican.

Younger, under-30 voters, meanwhile, haven't mailed a letter or card in years, never check their mailbox and literally have no stamps in their home. They tend to vote as Democrats.

Presumably, by 2022 Biden would have put the pandemic response team back together, and adopted the playbook that Trump trashed

 

He also might actually try to do his job. One of the worst things President Trump did in all of this was abdicate his own responsibilities in an attempt to deflect blame away from himself.

 

If Fatfuck had only made mistakes and gotten bad information, things would be bad enough (but the death toll far far lower).
But he didn't just make mistakes. He engaged in infantile ego tripping and actively punitive targeting those who didn't publicly kiss his ass. And that cost tens of thousands lives and millions of jobs.
In any just world, he'd end up strapped to a wall and blindfolded listening to a countdown.
