A photog buddy of mine had a rant go semi viral while covering a vigil following a mass shooting last summer because so many news camera people just asserted themselves in the moment (among some other assholeish things). If he had a bean bag launcher, he would have used it.

Ford was equally gutless. While its concern probably wasn't a federal contact, it knew that if you do anything this particular president dislikes, he'll punish you over his personal grievances.
