Given how many cruel, ignorant GOPers he has had to deal with in State Congress - not to mention enduring a pouty, petty Pat McCrory after being him in the election for governor - Roy Cooper will be fine as Trump attempts to repeatedly belittle, threaten and just bellow out loud.

The funny part is that Cooper is originally from Nashville ... North Carolina. Obviously not as well known as Nashville, Tenn.

Good, even if it potentially hurts the Dems in the house. But let’s be clear, everyone knew he was a horrible racist for years and he was embraced by the GOP leaders for years until he said too much of the quiet stuff out loud.

And N.C. has its own Cooper who is running them out of the Old North State.

My last place (2007-2012) was at St. Johns Ave. and Cherry... closer to the river. Lots of good times at Kickbacks.

The campaign strategy is certainly clear enough by now. Do as little as possible. Blame all the horrible shit tearing this country apart on everybody else, primarily governors and local politicians who are Democrats. Try to steal the credit for everything those governors and local officials do right.

What has President Trump really done during the protest/rioting/looting crisis that he helped to create? He has made it worse. He made it worse by posting incendiary things on Twitter. He made it worse by attacking peaceful protesters and displacing church leaders not just so he could have a photo op in front of a church, but so he could keep it a surprise. Plan the thing well and keep people in the loop and nobody had to be gassed or shot with rubber bullets.

Oh, let's not forget berating governors and insisting that all they need to do is send in more people with guns, even if those are members of the National Guard who don't have police training.

Not only in this case but that seems to be his way of handling every crisis. Blame someone else (not necessarily Obama, but he's the No. 1 target). Cook up some crazy conspiracy theory, or borrow one from Fox, OANN or whatever he saw on TV last. Promise a solution in two weeks, and if that doesn't work, kick the can forward. Head for the links. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I know I'm d_bing myself with that post, but Trump is predictable. And even the townspeople are seeing the emperor has no clothes.
