Mulvaney doesn't care about Trump's followers. He's talking to Trump. Every Trump appointed official is speaking only to Trump. It's the cost of keeping their jobs.

 

Hey, you know what would really help stop a pandemic? A tax cut!

 

Then businesses could afford to buy health insurance for their employees, and also finance a universal wage for workers who get sick but can't afford to take a day off.

 

You know what will do even better at stopping a pandemic? Throwing more brown-skinned people, especially children, into cages in facilities run by companies who are giving kickbacks to Trump's kids!
