Yeah, that's just how Americans have always been taught to regard Russia's military parade.

Gotta give credit where it's due. You can troll with the best of them. This was some alliance. Stalin was an opportunist. He was allied with Hitler at the start of the war and didn't hesitate to carve out his share of Poland. But that doesn't fit with your schtick. And let's not forget how the Soviets colonized Eastern Europe after the war.

    They've been taught wrong.

Victory Day is a huge event in that country. You just cannot imagine the way they view it.

    So quit trying.

Yes, an opportunist trying to save his country. He knew the Red Army was not ready for war at that time and tried to buy as much time as he could. He thought he had until 1942. He was wrong.

The US has been at war in Afghanistan (and elsewhere) for 18 years because . . . 3,000 people died on a late summer day in 2001.

What the fuck do you think we would do if we lost 27 million citizens? Colonize the whole world, if necessary, to make sure it never fucking happens again.

"Ah, mon ami Hastings!," Poirot exclaimed. "The evidence it was in plain sight the whole time."

Sigh. It's not what I've got. It's what the American people in swing states are willing to believe.

Beyond that, the concern for Ukraine has been a lot higher than the concern for Biden.

Look: I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I have no issue seeing Trump for who he is. I also have no issue finding all of this a little bizarre, too.
