I 100 percent agree with this, and I even thought about starting a separate thread about the amount of kids dying from vaping-related lung issues in recent weeks.

Vaping is the Wild West right now. No one knows how safe or how dangerous it really is, mostly because the FDA is understaffed and hasn't given vetting products the proper attention that it needs. (Wonder why that might be?)

A point I saw brought up today was that banning Juul and other e-cigs won't help because most of the problems are coming from black market products that have THC and CBD oils in them. And all you'll do now is send people scurrying for more black-market unregulated products.

The whole thing is a mess.

 

Former SecDef Robert Gates ripped lots of Obama Administration officials in a book (while they were still in office) but Mattis et. al are all quiet on the maga front.

 

Nobody said it wasn't. Just asked how much tobacco paid to get it banned.

 

Compare and contrast the number of deaths associated with vaping vs. smoking tobacco.

While vaping MIGHT be very, very dangerous. We KNOW smoking is.

 

Even by Republican standards, this is low.

 

The biggest vaping companies are owned by Big Tobacco. They've invested billions into finding a new delivery device for nicotine. Why would they want it banned?

This is why, if the Dems take over the presidency and the Senate, they MUST:

1) Nuke the filibuster
2) Pack the SCOTUS to the fucking moon. Name a dozen new (radical feminist socialists all under 30*) justices on 1/21, approve them all by voice vote, by acclaimation, no hearings, no questioning, no nothing, bang zoom confirmed.
