Well, this lady is 66, and the widow of the guy who started the Univision Spanish language cable network, so it's a little different.

How grateful that 13-year-old from El Salvador must be that his wants and needs align so closely with those of Tyson Foods shareholders and the State of Arkansas.

    What a world.

I’m all for suing Fox News, but most of the allegations in that story are laughable. Bartiromo has been off of the deep end for 6 plus years.

It goes way beyond Tyson Foods shareholders and the State of Arkansas, if you aren't just interested in finding the exact villain you want, in order stick to a trite and simplistic narrative.

You can make any narrative you want from it (you choose "shareholders" as your go-to amorphous villain).

But things don't happen entirely by accident, either. If some meat packer doesn't look the other way so it ends up with teenaged migrant working in its processing plants (which we all agree is bad). ... maybe you get fewer parents sending their unaccompanied children here with a plan for them to send money back home (although then what for those kids?). They don't have the incentive. ... if there is no job waiting for that kid in the U.S.

So it starts there, of course, with that meat packer.

But for the last several years, that meat packer has struggled to find warm-bodied workers -- as demand has surged -- which is exactly why they ended up doing the thing we all think is immoral.

And for that I can give you a lot of other "villains" (although you never seem to think they are villains; in fact you sometimes think they have "reimagined" the world) who insisted on and pushed through economic interventions that created backward-ass incentives that left that meat packer in a situation where it has thousands of jobs it can't fill.
