It's amazing how ignorant so many are about teachers unions. Then again, those same people are typically ignorant about most things. All those unions do is making teaching a reasonable profession to make a living at, and nobody is getting rich doing it. Without unions, there would still be teachers, but not many, and far fewer qualified ones. Republicans want public education squashed because Republicans rely on the stupid and the ignorant for votes.
