Might be fun, or embarrassing, to look back at this in December.

    Anyway, who's your Heisman pick?

I'm going with the favorite, Matt Barkley.

I hope Barkley gets a ring and the Heisman this year.

By the way, the Barkley piece in SI this week is really good. Seems like a great kid.

If Landry Jones had left, Blake Bell would be my pick. But I went with Matt Barkley.

Save it for the Harlon Hill or Walter Payton Award threads... :D

Did anyone do this last year? Would love to see the vote% for Andrew Luck, Trent Richardson and Robert Griffin III.

I seem to remember that RG3 wasn't as off the radar last year as people make him seem to be. Obviously he wasn't a favorite, but he was mentioned.

RG3 was mentioned, but I'd say 80% were in the bag for Luck.

I went with Barkley. IMO it's his to lose. I don't think there is a defense west of the mighty Mississip' who can contain him. I never thought he'd be THIS good after watching him crap the bed at Mater Dei on national TV with Marinovich watching. He's really become the next great USC QB who will bust in the NFL.

In high school, Barkley was national player of the year as a junior, quarterbacking a great team. Graduation depleted the team for his senior season. He had no receivers and the line couldn't block. He wasn't even all league. The next season, he was starting at USC as a freshman.
