Ah, come on. There's nothing like a game at The Pit.

Spoken like an Aquinas grad..... ;-)

What about the hookers on E Street or just west of E and north of the Carousel Mall? Those are the ones that give downtown Berdoo its flavor. :)

Seriously, this isn't Bed-Stuy or East St. Louis, folks. There are plenty of good places to live, especially if you're working out of Ontario. Plus, Louis Brewster is a good guy to work for and between Cal State SB, Cal Poly Pomona and all the JC's, there are plenty of good stories on the local college front to pursue.

And Buck? I think I hear the Pit calling...

And it's a tough week because NASCAR is in town this week and the sports editor is the lead writer for that stuff.

Aw man, gotta love the vroom at the ol' California Speedway. Then head over to Ontario Mills for some drinks at GameWorks, back in San Bernie for some late night food at Alberto's on Del Rosa, then I'm losin' my paycheck at San Manuel!

Oh, wait, I don't work there anymore. :)

Whoever takes this job, by the way, I must say that Cal State San Bernardino is a school of cheatin' bastards. Take 'em to the cleaners. I mean, hell, they got lots of my money for no real education! Oh yeah, and they used a woman who played pro a few years back on their basketball team, right MileHigh?

I must be drunk. And notice, I still haven't said anything nice about the sun. :)

Tell PaulO congrats on 30 years for me. And to make him feel bad, remind him that I started reading his stuff in second grade.

If you really want to make him feel bad, Ian, tell him you started reading his stuff in second grade and that you have been retired for 15 years. :)

I think I was only in the fourth or fifth. Took us longer to learn to read in the Steel City.

I wish I didn't live a million miles away. I'd apply for this one.
Living and working in California would suit me fine right now.
    40 miles from L.A?
I really wish I could be on the short list for this one.
    Them's the breaks, though.
