    friends tell me resumes are still trickling in on this but no movement. also heard another position could be coming up. anyone know? anyone know staff other than bill vilona? how many people? pay?

    I took the I-95 down to Pensacola, and all I found was a bunch of holy rollers. They don’t know nothing about saving me.

    Sheryl Crow got it wrong, though. I-95 doesn't go down to Pensacola. But I guess I-10 doesn't work that well in the lyrics.

    Considering Pensacola is some five hours west of I-95, she got it really wrong.

    That said, Pensacola is only 15 minutes from Tahoe.

    It's been a while since I've read it regularly, but as I recall, the PNJ does a solid job with preps and there's a lot of good high school ball in the area. But if you apply for this job with grand designs of one day taking over one of their college beats, don't, because they don't have college beat writers ...

    Speaking of college football, is the University of West Florida ever going to wake up and add football to its athletics program? There's a load of high school football talent in the Central time zone portion of Florida, yet there is no collegiate football program on any level in that part of the state.
