    GateHouse stock did get delisted from the NYSE for failing to keep their price over $1, and is now traded as a penny stock.

    Football starts in a month and the preseason tab is non-existent due to lack of ad sales.
    Thus, they could afford to wait.
    There were two openings here, actually, after the exodus of a longtime sportswriter (35 years).
    Word is, drug test results are all that's needed for the new male prep writer to get in place.
    Apparently coming from Decatur paper.
    (This paper, according to figures recently released in-house, makes a decent amount of money. Corporate, meanwhile, is getting killed on the stocks page)

    That would explain the opening in Decatur.
