    Regardless of what happened, it also doesn't help that SB is the most unaffordable area in the country, literally. The survey is based on real estate prices when compared to average income. Housing there is out the roof and there's really no industry. Makes for an interesting dynamic. And there's no relief in places like Goleta, Lompoc, Santa Ynez.
