You don't remember your contact person from junior high?

I had to get a level of clearance when I got my current job and they asked for the name and address of my middle school. I would be stunned if they actually called them unless it was to confirm that I went there. I remember being a little worried that I might have an unpaid parking ticket somewhere that might show up. I found out after the fact that they were just looking to make sure I didn't have any felonies out there.

 

Heavens, it's been so long since middle school, I'm not sure if the one I attended (private) is still around more. I certainly wouldn't know anyone there and they wouldn't know me. If they found a scrap of paper with my name and GPA and such in a dusty old filing cabinet, that would count as success.
