We're a twice-weekly, Wednesday and Saturday. We have six schools to cover, have 10 or 12 inch previews on five of the teams and 15 to 18 inch preview on our Game of the Week. We also run stat leaders on Wednesday's, as well as a "What to watch section," which lists trends about each school to be aware of. We have the prediction column on all teams and in-state college games on Wednesday's also. Q & A with one player from the upcoming game of the week. We have a players of the week section from the prior week's games. One man staff. I work my butt off, but I love it. Our readers love our coverage.

    Thanks for the suggestions, ronalong.

You have a nice Wednesday/Saturday news cycle. We come out -- I have no idea why -- Tuesday/Thursday, which usually means little sleep early in the week.

We handle 17 schools with a three man staff.

Generally we do two 20-inch or so features a week. For game previews, we do a column approach. We call coaches during the week and get comments. Big games get around 20 inches or so, then the rest get 5 to 10 inches. Polls, computer rankings, prep notebook go in Tuesdays. Picks run in Friday's edition.

We do not do a special football section on Friday because we believe in giving the reader something every day.
