    Interesting stuff from my standpoint from Angola!, joe_schmoe, Football_Bat, and jps on this all-around interesting thread.

    1983 Daingerfield Tigers ... Thomas Everett on that Daingerfield team, correct? Beat its opponents 631-8. The only team to score a touchdown on Daingerfield that year was Carthage (14-6), a Class 4A state semifinalist (and my alma mater ... GO DAWGS).

    Dennis Alexander coached that Daingerfield team. He just got his 300th win last season (coaching at 2A Harleton now). I know a Daingerfield fan who was at the 2002 game you speak of. He gushes when he speaks of the Blue Tigers' win that day.

    A lot of people don't like him, but Randy McFarlin must know what he's doing if he's got Whitehouse going to the playoffs.
