Prep FB preview section exchange?

I'm in. Although my last one hasn't printed yet.

 

Don't worry about it man. Knowing what your chain is, I am not surprised they won't pay to send it. Mine won't either.

 

Rusty: Don't worry about it, at all. We can all appreciate the frugal attitudes of bigwigs -- I believe it's a job requirement for them, in fact.

 

Sneak two or three in the mail each day for a week. You'll avoid a lot of suspicion that way.

 

Hey guys, how do I get in on this? I would love to be part of an exchange.

 

Check your PM inbox.

 

And put a name on the return address, just the paper's name.

That way when the publisher sees outgoing mail addressed to another newspaper, he won't think you are applying for a job there.

But wicked is right, don't ask for permission to send them. And if the publisher questions it later, just say well, I was trying to improve the section with an exchange of ideas.


Seriously tho, any publisher that can't pay a few bucks for postage is stupid. Sounds like the one paper I worked at that wouldn't pay for a monthly Internet charge for photogs to send photos back, because there would be a couple months that it didn't get used.

 

OK. I have sent PM's to colton, angola, calvin hobbes, sconnie, shotglass, scribe4sports, dragonzo and I'll never tell.
Just send back addresses and I will put them in the mail.
I can't wait to see some of the other ideas out there.

 

Just sent three more out today.

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's ideas and concepts.
