prayer request please - day 2 and more bad news

    well, the morning didn't bring any good news. ct scan this morning showed that the clot is still there and there are no other medical options. best we can hope for now is that he'll come out of it enough to be sent to a rehab facility to try to teach how to talk again, swallow, etc. if dad doesn't make any improvement over the next couple of days it looks like we have to get him into a long-term care facility.

    this is effing devastating.

    again, thanks to all who sent prayers our way.
