I'm voting for Whitlock. Got to keep this crown in the Ball State family.

Unless I get it again, in which case, Jason can continue to be my bitch. :D

I second Buck's nomination, even if he doesn't want it.

If it doesn't get POY, it should certainly be in the inaugural Thread HOF class, along with Charlie Brown, Rambling, Pickle Juice job trolling, and other faves. Think Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Christy Mathewson and Walter Johnson of the Thread HOF.

Books Thread, I fear, will be the Buck O'Neal of the HOF; everybody loves it, but it never finds traction for admission.

Eh, I think it could sneak in the back door.

    Books, not Boots. That's a shoe-in.

That might be true, but you have to look at the body of work. Discounting the Romp in the Hay thread because of a few self-congratulatory posts would be like saying Jerry Rice isn't a Hall of Famer based on his sorry days with the Raiders.

That post had more touchdowns than any other this year (and many of them on backdoor reverses :))

Would you kick Stevie Wonder out of the Hall of Fame because of 'I Just Called to Say I Love You' or 'Ebony and Ivory'?

    Exactly.

    All threads die.

But that thread, man, it truly lived.

That thread would rather be a crying pussy than a faggy Goth kid.

That thread loved its dead gay son.

That thread celebrates itself, and sings itself,
And what that thread assumes you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to that thread as good belongs to you.
