    Actually a two-hit wonder. "Thank You For Being A Friend" hit No. 25. You might remember it more as the theme music for "The Golden Girls." He was a session musician for a ton of other artists and wrote hits for Trisha Yearwood and Wynonna Judd. Trivia I had forgotten: His mother was the singing voice for Natalie Wood in "West Side Story" and his father won an Oscar for the score of "Exodus." Died of cancer at 59 in 2011.
