Possible opening in Statesboro

    Hi folks,

    I'm the current SE at the Statesboro Herald and will be leaving in a few weeks for another paper. Thus, an opening for my position or staff writer may be opening shortly - pending the decision of the execs on whether or not to hire locally or post an ad for the position.

    Just a heads up, I'll post the official ad when and if it is posted.

    You do know it was a lumber truck, not a peach truck, in the accident that killed Duane Allman, right?

    Actually a flat bed Chevy with lumber crane to be precise and Berry Oakley was hit by city bus but Peach truck is better story.
