I know Quebec is part of Canada.
I was wondering how it was the top grossing Canadian movie in national history if only the people in one province are seeing it.

I don't know. There are about 7.6 million people in Quebec. Maybe they've all seen it.

Also, 'Porky's' cashed $11.2 million, which is about $25 million today.
Although, that's allowing for U.S. inflation, not Canadian inflation.

It's funny as hell, JR. Go see it.
While it's funnier in French (if you remember that gormawful He Shoots, He Scores series on CBC, the French version was fall-down, laugh-out-loud hysterical, because French hockey player swearing is a hell of a lot funnier and more colourful than English hockey player swearing), it's still a hoot in English.

    I'd vote for Cold Comfort.

I've watched Canadian-made specials about youth hockey and Ferguson Jenkins. Based on the quality of the camera work and narration of those specials, I'd say three drunken frat guys with a video camera could put together a movie that would outdo most Canadian productions.

  10. Another country heard from.

Not a country I'd move to.

I loved "Porky's" and "Meatballs" but "Fubar" is without a doubt the best Canadian movie ever made.
