My wife can't stand Pink Floyd and Rush, and hates most classic rock.

I have to live with Richard Marx. :p

My wife likes today's "dance" and "pop" and "rap," so you get no sympathy from me.

    Absolutely not. No way. :D

    Band: Pearl Jam

Song: Anything currently on Billboard's Top 40.

  5. There's still a Billboard Top 40?

    Group: Rascal Flatts

Song: The new Ozzy tune is on my last nerve. Oh ... and any song my daughter uses as a ringer on her phone.

Song: "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. I don't really mind the lyrics, but James Blunt's voice sounds like two gophers fucking in a burlap sack.

Group: I can't think of any group/artist that I absolutely despise. I don't listen to very much current music -- the most "recent" CD I own is Ray Charles "Genius Loves Company" -- so I am blissfully unaware of Ashlee Simpson's musical abilities, or lack therof. I do not like almost any of John Mellencamp's songs. And there are several artists who I can respect as artists/musicians while admitting that they don't do anything for me (Bob Dylan, U2, Tenacious D, The Clash).

    For all I know ... perhaps there isn't, but I wouldn't give a shit. :)

I've developed a very recent dislike of the Doors and Queen.

Nowadays, I find the studio version of Stevie Nicks's "Stand Back" all but unlistenable. However, I still get stoked when I hear that song done live.

James Blunt is one of those artists who are perpetrators of what I call wrist-slitting music. Every time I hear the song and I'm not driving, I make a wrist-slitting motion. I find it that deplorable.

The Stones, Zeppelin, Floyd AND The Who?

You scare the shit out of me, Alley.
