I should have started this thread on Mother's Day. Solid pick, Guy.

I'd heard that too. I always wonder what the Ramones would have done with that. It's certainly not one of Bruce's more objectionable songs in my book. I've always thought "Darlington County" and "Glory Days" were among the biggest filler he has ever churned out.

    Some others:

    - I've always thought Petty's "Into The Great Wide Open" was brutal

    - I'm a huge Prince fan but any of his attempts at rap must be avoided

    - Sinatra doing "Bad Bad Leroy Brown"

It doesn't bother me nearly as much as "Stand," which is freakin' awful.

I love the band, but that is the worst song on a godawful album...

Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey by Paul McCartney & Wings. Freaking horrible.

Normally I think weed is good for bands, but this is the exception that proves the rule.

That is pretty brutal, as is "Silly Love Songs" and "Ebony And Ivory".

"Hey Hey Hey Hey! Pull that bus over to the side of the pretentiousness turnpike, alright!? I want everybody off the bus. I want the shiny people over here, and the happy people over here, ok! I represent angry gun-toting meat-eating fucking people, alright!" Sit down and shut the fuck up Michael!"

A truly awful Springsteen song is "Real Man" (off the 'Human Touch' album)

Regarding "Hungry Heart"... Bruce's liner notes for "Hungry Heart" on the Greatest Hits album "My first real Top 10 smash & I guess my real entrance into the pop mainstream. I met The Ramones in Asbury Park & Joey asked me to write a song for 'em. I went home that night & wrote this. I played it for Jon Landau & earning his money he advised me to keep it"
