All cover versions, maybe. Ain't nothing wrong with the Martha and the Vandellas original. Although I would still rather listen to "Heat Wave" or "Nowhere To Run" any day.

And I don't get the dislike for "Hungry Heart." That's always been one of my favourite Springsteen songs.

Bob Seger's biggest chart hit was that godawful turd "Shakedown" from the Beverly Hills Cop 2 soundtrack.

If the highest charting song someone's ever had gets left off their greatest hits album (they finally put it out on volume 2), you can be assured it's pretty bad.

Haha that's a pretty accurate take.

How about James Brown's Living in America? I love the Godfather, but that song was terrible. And it was his biggest chart hit. Ugh.

Factoid of the day: Bruce Springsteen wrote "Hungry Heart" with the intent of giving it away to the Ramones. But when Bruce's manager heard it, he told Bruce to keep it.

Since the title is "popular band"... Awful song, the correct answer is everything Creed ever recorded.

    Hey, I like "Hungry Heart."

But "Dancing in the Dark" certainly belongs on the list.

And the grandaddy of them all in that category...

"My Ding a Ling" by Chuck Berry. His only number one song. It's unspeakably awful.

Bed of Roses and Keeping the Faith by Bon Jovi are hideously bad songs.

Without You by Motley Crue is awful.

Twisted Sister's entire Christmas Album should burn in hell.

Pink Cookies in a plastic bag by LL Cool J is more disgusting than the vomit of a cow with avian influenza
