Popcorn Time - The Napster of movies

Wife and I barely have enough time to watch TV shows, nevermind movies, so we don't have a Netflix account (willing to swap an HBOGo password for one though).
Several months back Gizmodo had a piece on an app called Popcorn Time, which is pretty much the napster for movies and TV. It shut down a week after I read the article. It popped back up and is pretty damn awesome.
I don't know if anyone else has tried it, but it's great. My only problem right now is I can't figure out how to stream it from my laptop to my TV. It recognizes my TV as a place to watch it, but I can't figure out how to get my TV to accept it.
