    Yeah. I think he should state publicly he's pro operating under the influence and pro vehicular manslaughter.

    I totally understand your stance. I get it. I even understand why.
    I've know the guy for a very long time.

    But, I still feel he sufficiently told that particular story and I never got the feeling he was apologizing for Leyritz. That's all.

    I also reread the piece.
    Hey, it's all subjective. But, I think your disdain, your aversion for the hauteur writer is blinding.

    This isn't the Jim Leyritz I remember as good kid who wanted to do whatever he could to stick in the majors. I hate reading this kind of information.

    You mean the cocky prick who dubbed himself "The King" when he had accomplished nothing? You mean that "good kid?"

    So if you're out on bail in Fla. for DUI manslaughter and you beat the crap out of your ex-wife do they put you in jail for a day or what? Maybe some community service?
