While I CAN see some people's beef with it, it isn't as though anyone is deliberately propping it onto the front page.

People seem to like it and I ignore it just fine 90 percent of the time.

Leave it alone.

I don't have a single post in that thread, but I say it's a HOF thread. Keep that living legend around.

 

I'm not talking about ruling with a heavy hand. There are people who posted on that thread and said they think it's time for it to go away.

I wanted to see how many others feel that way.

 

We saw the posts, and we don't agree with the posters who said it. We're told all the time in PMs that the posters who said it are ruining the board and we agree.

I voted for, "Yes. Lock it. It's done. Too much like a chatroom." Sums up my feelings on it.

However, had I looked a little closer at the options, I would have gone with, "Yes. Lock it and start a new one."

Because I think both ring true for me with respect to that thread.

 

I'm told all the time -- by everyone -- that everyone else is ruining the board.

Not sure I get the ham reference.

 

Somehow I've come to respect and care for that thread.
