Pro football over college -- just because the season is slightly longer.

    College hoops.

    Lacrosse.

    Soccer

    Track.

    College softball.

I should have mentioned track, for exactly that reason. Seeing a world-class triple jumper or pole vaulter up close ... it's breathtaking.

I've never seen anyone that good, but at the district meet a team SHATTERED the record a few years ago. It's something that I'll never forget.

It was in the 4x100 and I've never seen humans run that fast. In a weird twist of fate, one of my bosses now was an official at that match. He's never seen anything like it either.

    Baseball
    NFL
Auto racing (the only thing I record and watch religiously sports-wise is Formula One, I even watch the feeder GP2 series pretty regularly)
    College basketball
    College football
    Soccer
NHL (playoffs only, regular season doesn't mean shit)
NBA (playoffs only, regular season doesn't mean shit. NBA used to be much higher when I covered it, but no sport aside from NASCAR has lost my interest quicker and I really don't know why)
other open-wheel racing (IRL, Champ Car, etc.)

Spectator sport I enjoy but don't watch much ...
Horse racing (aside from the Triple Crown of course)

Never interested me much, but I respect them ...
    Pro golf
    Pro tennis

Used to watch it a lot and was a fan, now I don't give a shit ...
    NASCAR
    To some degree, the NBA

I went to an exhibition that featured Amy Acuff one time. Absolutely amazing to see Olympic level talent up close.

Marion Jones as a sophomore at Rio Mesa High ... she was beating the shit out of Muir's Inger Miller, who went on to become an Olympian, too.

Funny, BYH. Miller was so damn fast, and Jones was killing her by a few seconds. The race I'll always remember was the 100 at the Arcadia Invitational. Ricky Carrigan of Compton also had a good day that day. Carrigan could've been a great one.
