    Bucknutty,

We do need one bit of clarity here: Was there ever anything between you in the past? Any drunken hookups? Any sexual advances?

Most importantly: Would you hit it?

12 posts before this. I wonder if that's some sort of record here.

No drunken hookups, but we did flirt a fair amount.

Would I hit it? With legs from here to ya-ya? Absolutely.

Doesn't matter if it's a date or not a date...

    You pay.

Dead-on correct. And with no consideration as to whether or not you'll score.

[blue] If you wake up beside her the next morning, that's a pretty good indication it's a date![/blue]

One check, and pay it. Even if it's not a date, she's a friend and you did extend the invite.

Whether or not I was going to pay isn't even a question. Even if I knew it wasn't a date, I would pay anyway.

Then why worry if it's a date or two friends hanging out for dinner and drinks.
Relax, enjoy yourself, you never know where it might lead.

Well see, I was gonna go all spnited on ya and say the guy should pay BUT I don't always agree on that because there are times when I'm adament about paying. I am a woman of 2007, ya know.

But if a guy asks me to meet for drinks, I'm assuming he's picking up the tab. Oh, and I'm in the South where it's the gentlemanly thing to do.
