    I forgot he was the Presidents Cup captain. It's a shame Larry Nelson was never a Ryder Cup captain.

    THAT is so, so true.

    Merely one of the most underrated golfers in history, a great story (didn't pick up the game until he was 21, serving in Vietnam) and one of the nicest, classiest people you'll ever meet.

    Unfortunately, yes. Like Nelson, he was another great candidate who fell through the cracks.
