Politics -- "That is a hypothetical"

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by ADifferentOkie, Feb 27, 2008.

  1. As I watch the replay of tonight's debate, I am struck by Clinton saying, "You ask a lot of hypotheticals."
This is an old standby for politicians, to claim they don't deal in hypotheticals.
Isn't that was we expect of them? Shouldn't they be spending some time preparing for what COULD happen, instead of just what has?
If I ever got into politics, I would slam my opponent every time they pulled this shit.
