  2. Sorry for the reporter, but any vet in the newsroom should be able to cover a Presidential visit.

    Don't you have to submit info beforehand for a security screening? I doubt the Secret Service lets you just throw someone else on that story at the last minute.
     
  4. Yup, a lot of pre-screening goes into covering POTUS.
    I've not tried to do it last-second, so I don't know whether it can be done.
