me too. i'm fine with a book, but when i have nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs and stare at other tables, i start to feel a bit left out.

as for movies, i've never made it to one by myself. if i'm gonna chill alone, i'd rather rent a movie and hang out in my PJs than go to the theater.
  2. Sounds like you're missing some fun in yer life, IJAG.

Huh? Because I'd rather chill in my suite with a burger and some wine means I'm "missing some fun?"

    Good thing you're not judgmental.

Some people don't like to dine out alone. Nothing wrong with that.
I know plenty of people who feel the same way.

Can it be called fun with quote function when it is true?

    When you walk
    Through a Storm
    Hold your Head up high

    And don't be afraid
    Of the Dark.

At the end of a Storm
    Is a golden Sky

    And the sweet silver Song
    Of a Lark.

    Walk on
    Through the Wind,

    Walk on
    Through the Rain,

    Tho' your Dreams
    Be tossed and blown.
    Walk on,
    Walk on with a HOPE
    In your Heart

    And you'll never
    Walk alone,

    You'll never,
    Ever walk alone.

    Walk on,
    Walk on with a HOPE
    In your Heart

    And you'll never
    Walk alone,

    " ALONE "

I only wish we had drive-thru service at In & Out locations in Ontario....

Great song. Gerry and the Pacemakers -- the third greatest band out of Liverpool (the Searchers are No. 2).

I never minded dining alone. Great time to collect thoughts and people watch. Plus I could get away with dodgy table manners.
