Please help - Mac problem

    Symantec no longer makes new versions of Macintosh software.

    glad i bought a pc last year, then.

    still have two macs around the house ... using them as doorstops.

    After trying the many above situations without successful results, I'm booting from my OS X Install disc and completely wiping clean my computer. So far, it looks like things are going right (it's in the process of installing) but I'll keep everybody posted. Thanks for the help, and hopefully I won't be back in a few hours saying I'm completely fcuked.

    Yup! Just got done transferring my docs and 16 gigs worth of music :D
