Basically a dry hurricane here in the sticks.
This was in Amarillo, about 3 hours south of me.

High winds in Texas topple tractor-trailers like toys ...

    EDIT: @Chef2 you bastard! :)

    89 degrees here Tuesday.
    83 degrees here yesterday.
2 inches of snow overnight. Won't see 45 today and 60 mph winds out of the north.
Ma Nature is a hideous byatch.

Driving across southern Illinois or Indiana a couple of decades ago, the wind was so strong it peeled off the side of a semi trailer like opening a can of sardines. I was about two car lengths behind when it started coming undone.

I love how he couldn't be bothered to cut the footage of the damage while his phone was ringing in the background. Absolutely needed three different angles of sheet metal on a car.

"I love being able to wear shorts and Chacos on Wednesday and a down coat on Friday," said nobody ever.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch just issued for the area.
You walk outside, and you can just feel it.
Heat of day + humidity = big storms here tonight.

I just pulled the weather for my zip code and the forecast for ten of the next fifteen days has the word "thunderstorm" in the forecast. Scattered, morning, severe, you name it.

See exit signs for the airport on the video. I would not want to be landing in that wind. Typical bumpy Denver/SLC landing X 3.
