    The band director at my kids' high school also goes to my church, and recently he was talking about his son, also a band director, looking for a job after moving with his wife. I asked if it would take a while for him to find something, what with the school year already started. He said, no, because there would be an opening soon because someone was bound to get caught fooling around with a student, and a school would be desperate to find a quick replacement. And damned if he wasn't right -- his kid had a job within two months.
