    Sometimes playing for the win means laying up and taking the reasonable shot.

    Just ask Zach Johnson, who some criticized as being wimpy for not "going for it" on some of the Par 5's at Augusta.

    Winning golf tournaments is as much about course management, course knowledge and making good decisions as it is about making birdies....

    Well, this wasn't just one of the par 5s at Augusta. This was the next to last hole of the tournament. At some point, you have to assume that the guy who was the best player over the first 70 holes isn't going to shit all over himself in the last two, particularly when he's already hit the shot he hit on No. 17.

    O'Hair picked his tee shot on 17 as his time to make a stand and go for the win. Good for him. Just try not to take so much club next time.
