The only time a brita has tasted like crap to me was when the tap water was crap -- in West Texas.

 

Exactly what we do. Love the big-ass, rectangular Brita with the spigot.

 

Only way to roll.

 

Think Francisco uses a Brita?

 

I remember reading about some kid that invented flushable pet scoop bags.

 

Or, as another idea, you can buy a Pur or Water-Pik filter that attaches to the faucet.

 

Doesn't solve the ice problem, though.

 

But you'd be making all your ice with purified water.
