A Mother's Day column on Ann Stow, mother of Giants fan Bryan Stow beaten by thugs at Dodger Stadium.

What a gorgeous story. I can only imagine what that mother is going through.

    Wow.

What an incredible last line. And what a gallant woman Ann Stow is. Love the line about how she doesn't want McCourt's bad mojo brought into her life. Such a wonderfully defiant and motherly thing to say.

I'm bawling. Just read it out loud to my mom and am crying twice as hard.

    This times 100.

But karma's a bitch, and she got game. She's coming for these punks.

What a great piece by Plaschke.

Why would you not believe they haven't caught them yet?

That's about the hardest thing I've read since 2001.

An excellent column, although it may be a poor joke to make, I noted that Plaschke wrote that McCourt is paying the hotel, but not the medical bills. Heck, he can't even make the Dodgers payroll, much less pay medical bills.

Thank you, MileHigh. I would not have seen that otherwise.

Very sad, very good read. Hopefully justice is served in this life or the next. Nothing in this world like a caring mother. They should not be celebrated on one day; they should be appreciated every day.
