I grew up in a huge family. On my mother's side alone, my granddad was one of 10 kids, and my grandma was one of 8. That's 32 great aunts and uncles and countless cousins that all lived within about a 10-mile radius. Even by the time I was born, the older ones were starting to expire a couple each year. I have been going to funerals since I was a small child.

On my mom's mom's side, it's all solemn and tear jerky. On my mom's dad's side, it was "Hey, the gang's all here. Remember when (the dead person) did so and so...."
    I much prefer the later.

Sounds like my frozen head is going to be lonely at Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
