I understand the guy's a clown, but this isn't one of the reasons. Not in Pittsburgh.

 

In a city with Mark Madden, this is nothing whatsoever.

 

She's the mayor of Baltimore. That fact and a room temp IQ should get you home, chief.

I wouldn't mind it if this was some kind of charity play, donate $10,000 to a food bank and I'll do it," instead this comes off as very toolish.

 

I think it's a lot of fun. Certainly would create more good copy around our city than our sitting mayor, who is 100 kinds of dud.

I mean, where's our sense of humor? The mayor guy is just a figurehead, really (kind of like the President). He's not actually the guy making the decisions.

 

Well, there's a reason to be glad I no longer live in Pittsburgh.

Ballscribe, the problem with Ravenstahl is that he finds his office to be a power trip and a toy.
He showed up a Mario Lemieux golf tourney unannounced - just said, hey, I'm mayor, I belong.
Took a charter flight courtesy of a potential buyer of the Penguins - against every city rule.
Got into a near-brawl with city cops at a Toby Keith concert after being taken there illegally on city time in a city vehicle.
The list goes on as well.
His priorities are so far off base for this city it's amazing.
