I must have struck a nerve because that angry face sprung a body. I'll go eat my peanut butter and jelly sandwich now.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was charged with assaulting his estranged girlfriend at a suburban Pittsburgh restaurant Wednesday night.

On Thursday morning, the Steelers announced in a two-paragraph statement that they had terminated Wilson's contract. Wilson signed with the Steelers as a free agent out of San Francisco in March 2005. Wilson caught 81 passes for 1,162 yards and two touchdowns in three seasons with the Steelers.

If he was a really tall receiver, do you think they would have checked with Roethlisberger first?

Seriously, I'm glad they cut ties with the guy, but I'm still very curious what they will do about Harrison.

Bravo for the Steelers. This should become SOP in more and more of these cases.

Okay, that first line made me laugh.

I doubt they do anything about Harrison. He's a Pro Bowler ... there's a different set of rules.
