"Six newspaper companies in southwestern Pennsylvania — The Times, the Butler Eagle, the Indiana Gazette, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Trib Total Media and the Washington Observer-Reporter — today announced the formation of the Greater Pittsburgh Newspaper Network. The network will allow advertisers to buy pre-printed advertising through one point of contact and target the Pittsburgh market with a wide range of options."

Anyone know of any other alliances like this? I've heard of sharing content, but rarely about sharing the moneymakers.
