    Clearly college football was better off when its players' summer jobs didn't involve actually showing up for work.

    It does put coaches in a bit of a bind, doesn't it?

    On the one hand, we WANT you to actually show up for work. But, on the other hand, don't do anything that could wind up injuring yourself and having to miss part of the season.

    Whatever. They can get injured falling off the couch, too, or doing any of a million things.
